This tucked away gem is not the ritz Carlton but if you are looking for a quick bite this is your place fast service and the food is made to order for the most part enjoy
10/3/24-I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for $4.59 that the menu said comes with home fries, and a bottle of Coke. Total came to $8 and some change. I got just a sandwich and when I asked about the fries, the lady behind the counter said I had to order them. The sandwich was pitifully small, two pieces of thin white toast with one egg and two small strips of bacon. Waste of money. You're better off going to the Dunkin in the shopping center around the corner.
For a little café, it delivers so much! Family run, minority business. Sandwiches cold and hot are really good. Also serves coffee/ tea, drinks, candy, baked goods. Make sure you ask for TWO eggs on breakfast sandwiches since they usually only use one egg. In NY, all breakfast sandwiches standardly are made with two eggs. I'm sure the shop pays high rent and taxes and happy to support a local business in the Inova hospital location.
The Chef makes awesome steak and cheese subs! The best ever. Both owners are so nice. I look forward to spine shots or physical therapy coming to the National Spine and Pain Center just because I know they make a great breakfast or awesome lunch before I go home.
Overpriced for no reason. Picked up a egg and cheese on crossiant for 4.99. I was expecting a decent size sandwich.. it was small, the bottom was burnt and barley and egg in it. Then there was a sign posted that 5 is the minimum for credit cards, understandable. I picked up a roll of candy (it was small). It was 2.99!?!?!?!?. Then I started asking the prices. Everything was more then double the price. Nothing was labeled and it honestly looked like the clerk was making up the prices as it goes. Never again going here.
A family member was in the ER. I was hungry and decided to try this little café. I ordered the the roast beef BLT. The man was really polite and said that he hoped I enjoyed it. That sandwich was AWESOME It was probably the BEST sandwich I've ever eaten. It was loaded with roast beef and a good amount of bacon. It had just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. If I could I would give them 10 stars. If I'm in the Kingstown area again during their business hours, I will definitely eat there again.
Stopped in for coffee and snack during breakfast hours. Seem to have a good breakfast crowd for take out. Mostly employees of the Healthplex and a few folks like me just visiting. Seating is available. Menu seems to be largely American fare.
Five Stars For A Little Cafe? Why not. I have always gotten a good meal here, fresh ingredients, prepared well, and nice size portions. Very simple specials, lots of drink choices, and a very friendly staff. A nice choice when using the hospital.
